Merry Christmas

We had so much fun this past Christmas. All of Aaron’s family was here and of course David was totally spoiled.

David's first haircut

It was a sad day today. David has a patch of dry skin on his scalp but his hair was so long and thick that the lotion could not get to it. Notice I said WAS. Yes that is right. I had to cut my son’s beautiful, dark, long, silky, wonderful hair. He laughed the whole time while I wanted to cry. I think the buzz cutters tickled him. It was cute to watch him stare at the mirror and smile, which was the only thing that kept me from being totally upset. I still have a few spots that need a little trimming but here are the pictures I took of him now. He is still sooooo cute.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and this year we had a lot to be thankful for. We had our home, our health and best of all, our son. Although David didn’t get any turkey he did get a drop of turkey gravy on his binky. Maybe next year he can have some gravy on some mashed potatoes. Here are a few pictures of our day. Che and Liberty got to eat the giblets. It is their idea of a perfect Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Halloween

We spent Halloween at home this year but on Saturday we went to the church party. It was so fun showing David off. As you can see he was a Bat and Aaron and I were Vampires. It was nice to go Trunk-or-Treating with him because I got to show him off and David also got to get a bunch of candy (which I will gladly eat for him). I can’t wait till next year. Then he will be old enough to enjoy it a little more.

Our Trip to Montana

We went to Montana to see My family. They all had so much fun meeting David. We played a lot of games and mostly spent time at the house relaxing and enjoying our vacation. My Mother had a hard time letting David come back home with us. LOL Here are a few pictures of our trip.

So here is the making of David’s nursery with the final pictures. It is nice that he is sleeping in here now because when we get up to feed him and put him back to sleep we don’t wake each other up. I think he likes it too.
